Class A
Combustible solids: paper, wood, cardboard and most plastics.
Class B
Flammable liquids: petrol, diesel, oils and solvents.
Class C
Flammable gases: LPG and similar pressurised fuels.
Class D
Combustible metals: specialist agents only.
Electrical
Live electrical equipment: CO₂ is the default choice.
Class F
Cooking oils and fats: wet chemical only.
