Premier Fire Services was founded in 1993 by Dirk Karel Kröhn Basson, who brought 25 years of fire-equipment experience to the founding of the business. In that same founding year, the company achieved the prestigious SABS Diamond Mark — 1475.
The team has grown around the same discipline. Lucas Barnard, our Safety and Project Manager, joined in 1998 as a qualified SAQCC service technician. Annah Jonas joined the same year and runs the workshop today as Workshop Manager. Slate Ndabeni joined in 2002 with 17+ years across portable, vehicle and fixed suppression — today our Majority Member. Miems Basson is a shareholder, and Alda Basson Louw has led the company as General Manager since 2016.
The result is a fire-management company that still treats every install like an audit and every service call like a callback.
